Since it launched in 2007, Google Street View has captured both mundane and exotic locations, spanning from your front yard to majestic mountains and ancient cities from around the world. Most recently, the portable Street View backpack was spotted at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Epcot parks in Florida…
Earlier this month, several people on Twitter spotted an individual wearing a Street View rig walking around the amusement park accompanied by park employees. The portable version of Street View was even seen taking a ride across a lake on a raft. This likely hints at some level of collaboration between Google and Disney. Currently, the only park with Street View is Disneyland Paris and at that coverage is rather limited.
As pointed out by Orlando Weekly, all other amusement parks, including Sea World and Universal Studios, have been captured and are navigable through Google Maps. It’s unknown when the photos captured will be added to Google Maps, but keep in mind there are three other Disney parks in Orlando alone and full coverage will likely take a long time.
